Information you can use

Facebook's New Bullying Report Tool

Facebook has implemented a new feature that makes it easy to get help when you see an image or message on Facebook that hurts you.

Here's how it works:

  1. If you see a piece of content that's personally hurtful to you, click on the "report" link under it (under a photo, the link says, "report this photo").
  2. Select the option, "This photo is harassing or bullying me."
  3. On the next page, block the person (if you want) and click on, "Get help from a trusted friend."
  4. On the next page, you'll be able to forward the content to anyone you want - your parents, your teachers, your principal or another trusted adult who can help you.
